In 2007 Tommy Osman bought a Salsarita’s franchise which is the very first in Michigan. Osman, 47, was looking for a fresh business that wasn’t fast food, but rather “casual fast”, as it is referred to.

Tommy's Story

Osman has been in business his whole life. When he was growing up, his father owned a store. Since then Osman has owned various restaurants and bars in the metropolitan Detroit area. He also worked for Ford Motor Company for about eight years.

Osman is married and has five kids ranging in age from 15 to 21 who all work at Salsarita’s. This is part of the charm of Salsarita’s -- no matter when you come in, you will see a member of the family. The Osman family cares greatly for their customers -- often greeting them by name.

Services

Salsarita’s has been in Allen Park since 2006, yet many people never realized that they cater, or that they have a full bar and great Mexican beer like Dos Equis and Negro Modela. Many people may not know that it is “build your own”, which means everything you order is made exactly the way you like it.

Well, that’s just the beginning. Salsarita’s accommodates fax-in, carry-out, private parties, fundraisers, and chips & salsa, guacamole, queso party packs to go.
